Bunny Kai Events
Bunny Kai’s First Public Appearance
August 22–23, 2013
25th Festival “Nights in Old Ljubljana”
Ljubljana, Slovenia
Bunny Kai was introduced to the public for the very first time during the 25th Nights in Old Ljubljana Festival — a beloved cultural event held in the heart of Slovenia’s capital.
Over two magical days, children and families gathered for live story readings, creative movement and dance expression workshops, and hands-on art activities inspired by the story. Through storytelling, movement, and imagination, Bunny Kai came to life beyond the pages.
This special debut took place on Tromostovje (Triple Bridge), one of Ljubljana’s most iconic landmarks, right in the city center. Surrounded by history, music, and summer evening lights, Bunny Kai met his first young readers — right where stories, art, and community come together.
It was the beginning of Kai’s journey — from a handmade story to a character loved by children.

Bunny Kai at the Children’s Bazaar 2010
Children’s Bazaar (Otroški bazar), the largest family event in Slovenia, took place from September 9–12, 2010, at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Bunny Kai appeared as an invited guest on the Bazarko Stage, where he met young audiences through interactive activities and storytelling. As part of Master Aron’s workshops, children were making carrot cookies, took part in a joyful bunny hopping competition, and listened to story readings together with Bunny Kai.
Kai’s appearance on the Children’s Bazaar stage created a playful and memorable experience for children and families and marked another important moment in his early public journey.
Bunny Kai Floating Exhibition & Creative Program
December 23–31, 2013
Bunny Kai was presented through a floating fairy-tale exhibition, accompanied by a one-week creative program for children and families.
During this time, children took part in art workshops, where they created Bunny Kai–inspired artwork and decorations, and hands-on baking sessions, preparing Master Aron’s carrot cookies using his special recipe from the story.
The program also included story reading hours, where children and parents gathered to listen to The Great Win and True Friendship, bringing the characters and values of Bunny Kai to life through shared storytelling.
The exhibition and workshops were designed as an open, playful experience — allowing families to move freely between the displayed illustrations, creative activities, baking, and reading moments.
Through art, stories, and simple joy, the program encouraged kindness, creativity, cooperation, and friendship, turning Bunny Kai’s world into a lived experience beyond the book pages.
All activities were free of charge and open to children and parents.
